Managing your NIHR Academy Award

The NIHR Leaders Support and Development Programme provides leadership training and online leadership development resources. It also includes the development and support webinar series that is available to watch on our YouTube channel.

The NIHR also provides a mentoring programme for award holders in receipt of a post-doctoral award. The programme is available to Members across all professional backgrounds.

The NIHR Reviewer Development Scheme is available for early career researchers who are new to reviewing or want to develop their skills further.

In addition, there are often opportunities for NIHR Academy Members to get involved with NIHR activities and attend events. You can find out more on the NIHR Academy webpage.

All NIHR Academy Members should notify our communications team of any upcoming press or media activity. Please read the NIHR research outputs and publications guidance.

Academy researchers are expected to submit data on the impact of their work on an annual basis and for a number of years following the end of their award. NIHR Personal Award Members from Doctoral Level to Research Professorships are automatically registered on Europe PubMed Central.
